In 2015 I worked with BirdLife International to synthesise the scientific literature on the global impacts of climate change on birds. The outcome was a report with National Audubon Society outlining the documented and projected avian impacts of climate change, solutions being put in place and policy asks to combat this global issue.

 

The report was aimed at  policy makers at the United Nations Climate Change Conference in Paris, COP21, so whilst the report was based on hundreds of scientific papers, it was designed to be attractive and engaging through the use of info-graphics and impressive photography. The report was a brilliant team effort between the science, policy and communication teams and you can see the final document here.
